Women's 15-km freestyle: Amanda Fortier, Canmore, Alta., finished 35th in a final field of 60; Jaime Fortier, Canmore, was 38th.
Men's 30-km freestyle: Donald Farley, Lorraine, Que., was 47th in final field of 78.
Figure Skating
Pairs: Jamie Sale, Red Deer, Alta., and David Pelletier, Sayabec, Que., finished second of 20 pairs in short program; Jacinthe Lariviere, Princeville, Que., and Lenny Faustino, Woodbridge, Ont., were 13th; Anabelle Langlois and Patrice Archetto, Longueuil, Que., placed 14th.
Freestyle Skiings
Women's moguls: Jennifer Heil, Spruce Grove, Alta., finished fourth of 16 competitors in final; Kelly Ringstad, Vancouver, placed 13th; Tami Bradley, Vancouver, was 14th.

Men's 5,000: Dustin Molicki, Calgary, placed 11th in final field of 32; Mark Knoll, Regina, was 18th; Steven Elm, Red Deer, wound up 23rd.
