Utah Olympic Oval
Speed-skaters from across the world will attempt to conquer the Utah
Olympic Oval in February at the Olympic Winter Games.
Located 14 miles from downtown Salt Lake City, the Oval has earned a
reputation as being the fastest speed-skating track, thanks to its high
elevation (4,675 ft.) and Utah's dry air.
The Olympic Oval is located in Kearns, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City.
Aside from speed skating, the Oval also has facilities for hockey.
