E-Center
The hottest stars in the NHL and Women's hockey will wear their
countries' colours in the E-Center during the Winter Games.
Located in West Valley City, the E-Center was officially opened in
1997. During the year, it is home to the American Hockey League's Utah
Grizzlies (formerly part of the International Hockey League) and the
Indoor Soccer League's Utah Freezz. The E-Center has also hosted several
music concerts, as it was originally designed to allow for clear
acoustics.
The E-Center has an 8,400 seating capacity and is a short nine miles
from downtown Salt Lake City.
