Ben Hindle looks to race at his second Olympics in Salt Lake City. He was 11th in Chris Lori's four-man crew at the 1998 Nagano Games. Hindle,
whose twin brother Matt is also on the national team, enters this season after recovering from a hamstring rupture. Prior to the injury his best
result last year was seventh in
Pierre Lueders' four-man crew at a World Cup event in Germany.
The Hindles switched to bobsleigh from track and field. They were both nationally-ranked 100 and 200-metre sprinters and impressed the
coaching staff immediately with their balance and their strength. In his first bobsleigh season Ben Hindle also appeared on the hit movie Cool
Runnings as a Russian bobsleigh team member.
