The edge goes to ...

By LANCE HORNBY -- Toronto Sun

Forward Mats Sundin of Sweden and goaltender Curtis Joseph of Canada, normally teammates with the Maple Leafs, are expected face each other on Friday when Sweden plays Canada in a final-round game.

Sundin was asked who would have the edge on a breakaway.

"There are no surprises from Curtis," Sundin said. "He's one of the best in the game and that won't change (in Salt Lake City). When you are playing goal like that, you have to put a lot of rubber at him and hopefully you get some bounces.

"I don't know if there is any advantage. The game is so fast. Curtis or myself would not have a chance to think where I'm going to place a shot. It's all reaction."
