Shannon Shakespeare enters her second Olympic Games as one of the key
veterans on the squad. The 12-time national champion qualified for the
4X100 and 4X200 freestyle relays. She raced both events at the 1996 Games
helping Canada to two top-seven finishes. She studies liberal arts and
sciences at the University of Michigan.
